Ok, I admit that Monday’s bit was a little too somber, but sometimes it feels good to get off the chest, right? So this week I decided to take it in a different direction. While I am amping up for the publication of the Lazarus Men, I also need to work this little dandy out into circulation. Enjoy, and as always, read on my friends. read on.
Everyone knows that elves don’t exist. Or do they? Daniel Thomas spent years making a career of turning his imagination into the reality of bestselling fantasy novels. But never in his dreams did he imagine all of those creatures on the pages of his books actually exist in today’s world. Where Have All the Elves Gone? is the brand new adventure from Christian Warren Freed and takes places in the heart of North Carolina. Beginning in Raleigh, Daniel is embroiled in a centuries old civil war that culminates in a single night.
“This story is fresh and a little tongue-in-cheek, a nice fantasy change of pace with twists here and there that make you have to keep on turning the pages.”- Amazon Review
Christian W. Freed was born in Buffalo, N.Y. more years ago than he would like to remember. After spending more than 20 years in the active duty US Army he has turned his talents to writing. You may have seen some of his work in local publications such as Peak Magazine, Boom!, and Cary Magazine. His latest novel is an alternate reality where elves and dragons live, work, and sleep among us.
Many of the experiences and battle sequences in his novels come from his three tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan and a keenly developed understanding of military tactics.
