Life is filled with derailment and distractions. Life is starting to get back to normal here in the United States (how strange it is I have to refer to it like this, but my audience ranges the world and that is not only really cool, it gives me a warm feeling in the heart) and events are opening up. Not trying to get into a debate or spark controversy, but I got my first vaccine shot the other day and have a series of events lined up for the coming season.
The biggest of which is Comiccon. Who else is excited? In 4 short weeks I was going to be in my booth and, hopefully, selling out my stock. Well, turns out our governor’s orders have shifted plans and now I have to wait another month, BUT the event will be full blown with cosplayers, celebrities, and a pretty good time. I’ve never been to one as a fan or seller and am super excited about it.
Personally, I think I am in over my head. A fish out of water, so to speak. Looking at some pics of previous events and seeing the size of the booths and depth of setups I am such a little fish! But guess what, I don’t care. I have a job to do and have the skillset to do it.
The New Zealand special forces have a motto I have adhered to since first working with them in Afghanistan back in 2002. Who Dares Wins. No truer words have been spoken.
See you out there friends. Can’t wait? Go ahead and skip over to your favorite retailer and pick up a copy or two of any of my books today.
