So It Begins
This was my last free weekend for a while. Those of you who have been slogging it out with me on this wild and crazy writing journey know what I’m talking about. For those who haven’t…welcome to the big show. You know by now that I went to my first ever comicon last month and good Lord was I out of my element. I may write scifi and fantasy but straying too far from Star Wars and Lord of the Rings can be an uncomfortable experience. I spent the first two hours just looking at the….people… and saying ‘what the f…’.
Now that I am properly adjusted to this weird scene I am going full bore for the next few months. First up is this Sat at American Legion Post 116 in Fuquay-Varina NC. Not only is this the biggest post in the state, it has a fairly good turnout for the annual Christmas in July event. So if you’re in this neck of the woods swing by the post and come grab a book.
The following week is the massive 4 day Galaxycon in downtown Raleigh. We’re talking William Shatner, Brendan Frasier, and soooooo many others big. I can’t wait to be thoroughly exhausted by the end of it.
Aug 7 takes me to the party town of Greenville, NC for their comicon. Thankfully this is a one dayer and I can rest a bit after that. Events keep lining up and I am ready to attack with ruthless aggression (in a super friendly, come see me and I’ll sign your book way of course!)
The train is leaving the station. Whose on board?
