The New Campaign Begins

A new year has dawned and with it the realization that I have soooooo much further to go to get where I want to be. A poignant question was asked to me over the weekend: what is it you are trying to get out of writing? I thought I had an easy answer, and, mostly, it remains clear. I want to have people from around the world enjoying my creations, reaching out to me, and providing motivation to bang out the next tale. Fame and fortune? Nah. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t say no to rising through the mire to become another King or Rowling. Are you kidding me? Boom town, population me! But I’ll consider myself content to make a comfortable living, be able to see the sights around the world I still haven’t seen, and enjoy what years I have left to me. Is that too much to ask?

That being said, today is my 48th birthday. How did that happen????? I could have sworn I was just graduating high school and going to the Army. Know what would really make me giddy? If every single follower and connection on social media bought just 1 of my books. Just 1. Hell, that right there would pay off all my debt….like 3 months from now.

Since that is a bit optimistic, I’ll settle for announcing the release of a brand new paperback and a host of upcoming changes to my brand. Look out world, Warfighter Books is about to go back to war and I don’t aim to take prisoners. (But seriously though, just one little book and you make my day…..)
