Time
Like King Diamond sang, “time isn’t always on your side”. No kidding. It’s already the 18th of Jan and it feels like New Years just happened. With so much to do, and more getting thrown on the plate daily it is hard to find the time to do what needs to be done. You know what I’m talking about. Just when we think we have it handled another situation pops up to disrupt the entire shebang.
How do we approach it? Do we march boldly into the maw of said challenge, slaying the mythical beast to win the prize or do we languish under the perpetual feeling of ugh? I can only speak for me, but while I often feel overwhelmed, I take comfort from past achievements, a level of high intensity training delivered by decades of military service and having fought in 3 wars, and the can do attitude of knowing I am capable of anything I set my mind to.
The world runs on perspective (sorry Dunkin). What is yours?
Ok, enough words. I’m off to start producing my first 5 hardcovers. Did I mention I just finished a sequel to the Where Have All the Elves Gone?
