What A Week

Yeah, so I get it. The week just started….BUT it’s already off to a bang. Let’s backtrack a little. I have a buddy who swears my Lazarus Men book is the one that is going to make me a name in the business. Maybe, that’s not up to me. I sat down to write a caper in space that is a cross between the Maltese Falcon, Total Recall, and a little James Bond.

Anyway, he digs it and is silently rooting for it. Over the weekend I received an email from a publisher- not one of the Big 5- but one who appears to do it the right way- asking for the manuscript as well as the outline for Repercussions, the 2nd caper story.

Boom. Sent. On top of that, I woke up this morning to find my books have been added by over 10,000- TEN THOUSAND- readers on Goodreads. Holy cow! Throw in a pair of books I have being readied by another publisher and the work I am doing under my own label and I have the makings of grand empire.

Who said 2020 sucks? Life is only what you make of it. If you want it to rock, you gotta go out there and earn it.
